Rob Wetton is a passionate social entrepreneur, awarded advertising creative and human rights lawyer.
While studying Law, with a major in human rights, Rob launched a charity that initiated widely recognised inclusivity initiatives, including a fashion label, an educational outreach program and the first refugee library on Australia's notorious Christmas Island. Upon graduating and a brief engagement as a human rights lawyer for the UN working to expand the scope of reparations for the Khmer Rouge Tribunal (ECCC), Rob committed to incubating and executing creative projects that promised to impact the world for the better.
Rob spent the next 10 years across 3 continents working as a creative brand builder, focusing on NGO accounts. He worked for leading creative agencies from Publicis Singapore to DDB Australia to Saatchi & Saatchi Europe, winning awards across the major festivals and developing cause-related movements and 360-degree campaigns such as the HIV+ Issue, the creative launch of the International Trade Centre’s Advancing Afghan Trade project, CERN’s Foundation arm and other NGO and UN-related initiatives.
Seeing a gap in the market for a specialist agency that develops cause-related initiatives, observing society’s ever-increasing need for social development and awakening to a personal desire to commit more to positive social change, Rob set up Cause We Care in Switzerland in 2019.
